Some identities are not created, they are revealed 👀 It took me weeks to bring this to life. Using charcoal and pastel pencil, going back and forth with details, depth, and softness Trying to get it to feel right, not just look right. Because this piece is more than a portrait yes 🙌🏾 The calm face? Not fear, Not confusion, Just presence Still, Grounded, Certain. And the markings? the map inscribed on the face? They’re not decoration. They represent identity 👌 Something that already exists within💪🏾 Something carried even before it’s fully understood. That’s where the title came from: INSCRIBED IN BEING🤍 Because some things are not learned. They are lived.
