The Story Behind the Artwork
I started this piece wanting to show strength that doesn’t shout. I mixed calcium with pigment and built the texture slowly, pressing line after line with my palette knife until the surface came alive. I chose transparent, light colors to let the texture breathe and glow. The hair was the last layer heavy, dark, and full because I wanted her crown to carry the weight of stories untold, yet worn with grace.
