The hollow in the hand of Jesus is a place of shelter, safety and refuge for the believers. The Story Behind the Artwork
This is a comforting Christian expression of total safety, divine care and protection, it comes from the biblical imagery of God holding and shielding his people and it inspired the traditional hymn titled- "With My Saviour Ever Near to Guide Me". It reflects the deep assurance of God's protection, care, and guidance, it captures the idea that the believers are securely held by God and shielded from harm and lovingly guided through life's storm. It speaks of humans longing for security and divine love- it reminds the believers that they are never alone- God hides them securely firm in the hollow of his hand.
