The Story Behind the Artwork

Her African Horizon began as an idea for a detailed and heavily textured artwork, but as I worked on it, the painting gradually developed into something much more personal. Interestingly, I had also dreamed about the concept before creating it. That dream stayed with me and became part of the inspiration behind the piece. As I painted, I allowed the colors, textures, and atmosphere to develop naturally, turning the original idea into a work that felt expressive, meaningful, and connected to my imagination. Through this piece, I wanted to capture a sense of African beauty and culture while also creating something that feels intriguing and open to interpretation.
