MEDIUM: Sand Texture and Acrylic on Canvas INTERSECTION is an abstract exploration of unity in duality. Built from the ground up with raw sand texture on canvas, primed and layered with acrylic, the surface carries a rugged, earthy depth you can feel. From this textured ground, two distinct faces emerge - co-existing within a single form. At the center, three eyes are revealed. Two are individual, one is shared. The middle eye is the meeting point - the common vision that binds them. COLOR INTERPRETATION: The reds are our passion and struggle. The blues are our peace and wisdom. The yellow is our shared future. And the sand brown is the common ground where both come from. The middle eye is where we agreed to see together. It is a visual statement on togetherness, partnership, and the beauty of sharing a single sight. Different, yet inseparable.
The Story Behind the Artwork
This work was born from my experiments with texture and memory. I build my canvases with sand, prime them, and find forms inside the roughness. As I painted, I saw not one face, but two individuals emerging from the same ground. In life we meet people different from us, yet we must share one path. True unity does not erase our individuality; it gives us a common sight. That is why they share the middle eye - it belongs to both.
