THE HOME LOVE BUILT is an abstract painting that symbolizes love, unity, and harmony within the family. The white house, artistically crafted with sticks, represents a home founded on love rather than bricks alone. The interconnected colourful shapes reflect the different emotions, personalities, and experiences that coexist within a family. This painting is not just an artwork but a symbolic reminder that every enduring home is built on the foundation of love.

The Story Behind the Artwork

I chose to paint The Home Love Built because I believe that a home is much more than a physical structure. It is a place where love is shared, sacrifices are made, differences are accepted, and memories are created. To me, the strength of a family is not measured by the size or beauty of the house they live in, but by the love that holds everyone together. The idea for this painting came from my reflection on the different people who make up a family. Every family has different personalities, emotions, experiences, struggles, and dreams. Like the colourful shapes in this artwork, these differences may sometimes appear disconnected, but together they form something beautiful and meaningful. The small white house at the centre of the painting represents the home I believe every family strives to build. I deliberately represented it with sticks because I wanted to show that a house does not become a home simply because it is built with strong materials. Its true foundation is love, understanding, unity, patience, and sacrifice. I painted this artwork as a reminder to myself and to others that even when life brings challenges, disagreements, and difficult moments, love can keep a family together. I wanted the bright colours to express warmth, hope, happiness, and the many emotions that exist within family life. With The Home Love Built, I am telling a simple story: before a home is built with bricks, it must first be built with love. I chose to create this painting because I wanted to capture that truth in a visual form—a reminder that the most beautiful homes are not necessarily the ones with the finest walls, but the ones where love lives.
